Art Farm in Nebraska

In just a few months, after I turn 37, which is the last day of August, I will load up my Nissan pick-up truck with art supplies and tools, and begin driving to Nebraska. I will be starting an art residency at ARTFARM which is located in the middle of Nebraska near the small town, Marquette. My home from September to November will be inside a 100 year old farm house out on the wide open plains. I will have access to a tractor if I would like, or maybe a horse. There will be a full woodshop, and lots of wood. There will be quiet nights filled with stars and there will be wind. I have never spent time in Nebraska. I wonder what I will be inspired to make while I am there. This is a cookhouse on wheels that followed the harvesters from field to field and the second picture is a group of folk with their wheat harvesting equipment all from the 1900's.

Happy Buyers at Open Studios

I love the smiles and the excitement when people are truly connecting with my work. Sunday was the last day of open studios. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, share my art work and even sell some of it!!!

Third Street Studio Art Sale Success

"I needed to thank you once again, I am totally in love
with this piece. It completely brightened up and
changed the tone of my apartment. I am getting so
many interpretations from it: sometimes it looks like
an award for loneliness, sometimes my own life (it is
my favorite colors and textures and I am a voracious
swimmer), sometimes I feel like I am easedropping on
an art scene that I take for granted that is normal
but it was just a lucky moment at Humboldt and it is
perfect. Regardless, I needed to let you know how
much I am enoying this, this the first piece of art I
have purchased (I am now adult!), and I look forward
to your future output. Good job, I am truly stoked!"
