This piece, is very special.
It is called,
She Collects Super Balls.
I think of it as a self portrait.
I have taken down my show in San Diego.
The time now feels very tender. I know I need to show my work more.
I need to make more work and learn how to sell it and as always I must find work that provides a steady income to
support my self. In these next few months I will come up with concrete plans that will make my art work more visible, as well as find a secure job.

oh, chela!!! i love that you are sharing this piece online. i love it.
and yes, take good care of yourself. the whole showing work thing is very draining. i just got back from installing a biiig piece and feel very empty and drained. i don't want to even think about what it will be like to have it come down next january.
i thought of you while installing b/c of all the artists working as installers/preparators. miss you!
